By using Pinpotha, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account on Pinpotha. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement. The platform is primarily intended for members of the Buddhist community.
2. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must provide accurate information during registration
- One email address may only be used for one account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
3. Acceptable Use
You may use Pinpotha to:
- Record and share your genuine good deeds and Buddhist practice
- Connect respectfully with the Buddhist community
- Contribute to the temple directory with accurate information
You may not use Pinpotha to:
- Post false, misleading, or fabricated pinkam
- Share offensive, violent, or inappropriate content
- Spam, harass, or abuse other users
- Use the platform for commercial advertising
- Attempt to hack or disrupt the platform
- Impersonate any person or organisation
4. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant Pinpotha a non-exclusive licence to display your public content on the platform. Private pinkam are never shared.
5. Donations
Donations made through Pinpotha are voluntary and non-refundable. They help maintain the platform for the community. We are not a registered charity; donations are contributions to platform operating costs.
6. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, post harmful content, or engage in abusive behaviour — without prior notice.
7. Disclaimer
Pinpotha is provided "as is". We strive for reliability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-submitted temple information or pinkam content.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
