What is Pinpotha?

Pinpotha (පින්පොත) is a digital merit book — a platform built specifically for the Sri Lankan Buddhist community to record, celebrate, and share good deeds (පින්කම්). The name comes from the Sinhala words for "merit" (පින්) and "book" (පොත).

In Buddhist tradition, recording and sharing merit is a deeply meaningful practice. Pinpotha brings this tradition into the digital age, allowing practitioners to maintain a personal merit diary while connecting with a broader community of like-minded individuals.

Our Vision

We envision a digital space where Sri Lankan Buddhists can live their values online — recording acts of generosity, virtue, and meditation practice, and inspiring others along the way.
